Awesome! So you came here as a PR?. One last q! Did you apply from scarborough or downtown? I'm still trying to figure out where my local office is - cic doesnt know.
I live in downtown, very downtown. I'm surprised that my local office is scarborough. One friend of mine applied back in Oct/Nov 2013, has not heard anything from CIC. I'm really not sure how CIC makes their decisions based on what criterias.

good luck!

With C-24 now law, will all "In Process" applications be processed under the new 1 step processing system or the old 3 step??? I read the following read on ipolitics.ca which tells me that the 1 step system applies... confused :-\

"Backlogs: The government hopes to ease the backlog of 320,000 citizenship applications by reducing the processing system from three steps to one for routine cases. Citizenship officers will make decisions on most cases, while citizenship judges will review non-routine applications."

Any idea's????

Congratulations!!!

Have you received it to your mail box?
Has it been updated on-line?
What is the date of the test?

Sorry for multiple questions :)

No problem :)
Yes, found the letter in my mailbox on Friday.
What is interesting, online status still shows "in process", there is no change there.
Test is on Jul, 2nd

Is it crazy to expect March applicants to start getting test dates. I am anxious as hell! :p :D

I guess its not crazy afterall. Just saw the February 2014 thread and it seems quite a few applicants have received their test dates.

What happened to us Jan applicants? :-X

Hi,
i am going to apply very soon...for citizenship,
My question is, in the citizenship form there is question, that put all your trips, however i never
Trevelld since i landed in 2011,,,but they are asking to put 4 years trips, shell i put the trips to other countries, that i have done before landed in canada, as they are asking for last 4 years?
Tnx.
If you haven't treaveled after landing in Canada, then you don't have nothing to worry about. When you fill out the residency calculator, it starts with asking you when you landed in Canada (i.e. when you became a PR), then it asks if there were any absenses. If you didn't travel after you landed, most likely it wouldn't ask you to provide any travel dates.

However, if you have to, then just provide any travel that you did before you landed. I am sure CIC will undersatnd looking at the dates that they were prior to your landing.

You must sent all your I-94 to US when times comes to expire. When you leave US and does not give back I-94, your status remain as you are still in US.

I am not sure but possibly when CIC checked out your CBSA report, it may not went through and that's why you got RQ.

If your passport has entry/exit stamp then you should not have any issue.

This is just my guess but good luck.
The above is wrong. Details of your trips to USA is available on line. Remember Canada and USD do share information. You can retrieve details of your USD trips which shows each departure date out of the USA as well.

Prefer to:

Hello cuds:

Congradulations !

Are you Single applicant or Family applicant?

I found that Family applications are getting Test dates faster than Single applicants.
