Hi ... Yes I was trying to bump up the thread ;D ... Oh I was watching Damascus thread quietly and it was a little bit depressing to see how some of our friends got frustrated and upset for feeling helpless.

Now that we finally got out Section C printout, we'll be sending in the complete paperwork to Berlin this week!

GO US!

I hope it's quick, because getting Work Visas is a pain in the foreign BUTT

You're right, no new news yet, as to be expected though.

I'm keeping myself entertained by reading some of the other threads.... :o

If someone gets news please share!!!!

Pay the full $1040... It will help to decrease your chance of delays down the road.

check this link: https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/efee/efee.do?lang=en; inside, u select immigration for persons outside Canada (it's outland process right?) and then u can calculate; from what u said u have to pay the minimum: 75$ (first step) + 475$ (second step); what Amanda says it's right, if u pay the full amount (75+475+490 = 1040, where 490 is the right of PR fee) it will save u from delays during the process

hope it's clear now :) good luck! make sure when u print the receipt, the receipt should have a bar code

it's normal; u cannot control anything during this whole thing; in a way i admire the ones going through Abu-Dhabi (that thread is not active at all), they just submit and they go on with their lives like before....when they get something, if it's in 20 months they will still b happy (cuz it's less than 27)....of course there could b situations when u r completely in the dark, so u need the experience of others but without letting control ur life!!!! hope u enjoy ur time 8) :-*

Processing Timelines has just been updated.

Current processing time is 68 days and working on Nov 9th Application....

But crazy thing is ppl in Nov 2011 thread who submitted applns on Nov 14th already got their approval...Weird eh?

I hope they work faster than ever on the applications and i dont mind if they "intentionally" portray a date that is a week backdated.

wooooow thanks for sharing that ;D

really i don't know how they work and put their timeline - how it's possible in one week to increase 6 days and next week decrease 6 days; maybe they had backlog from during the Holidays, maybe they just want to finish everyone from 2011 as soon as possible, maybe there were less people applying at the end of the year...hmm lots of maybe....or they just pick a random number LOL :P ;)

on a more serious note, i think step 1 works similar with step 2, the processing time they put is maybe for 80% of the cases; which means u could b part of the lower 20% and b approved sooner (yaaaaay) or b part of the higher 20% where the approval could take a little longer....hope not for this thread!!! :)

good luck everyone!! :)

I anyone submitted their applications and were recieved by Mississauga office on or before Jan 10, I believe their applications would yield a result by Mar 14th for Sponsorship Approval
