Finally after long waiting i got file transferred to Mississauga

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 26, 2015.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 6, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on April 17, 2015.

Your file was transferred to the Mississauga office on May 28, 2015. The Mississauga office will contact you.


Lets see what's next test or RQ... not sure as of yet.... travelled alot within 3.5 years

Hoping you will get test date . if you see Spread sheets of OCT NOV DEC You will find pretest RQ issued immediately after Processing starts in Sydney & send to applicant with instruction reply send to Local office & Post test RQ & cit 520 issued from local office during or after interview. ( this is the trend of mostly cases) Regards

So the RQ usually issued immediately after the CIC started processing the file before they transferred the case to the local office.. After they transferred it to the local office in most cases expect the test date within 70-90 days

Application Received: January 15, 2015
AOR: February 25, 2015
In Process: March 24, 2015
Transferred (Kitchener): March 27, 2015

I received test invitation on May 25.
I completed the test on May 29 last week, but Ecas has not updated beyond "Your file was transferred to the Kitchener office..."

Post-test interview went well. The officer only asked for 2 pieces of ID, COPR, and passport. He said he would approve the application and I should receive oath invitation within 2-3 months.

I've been very lucky so far. Good luck to everyone!

70-90 days? At that rate, I should have a test date by the end of this month, if not sooner.
