Hi everyone,

I have created this forum to discuss all the options we have on the table and share our stories.

Is your PGWP expiring soon and you can't extend it? Please share all the options you have to help other people whom going through the same experience..

How many CRS point do you have?

I have CRS 440 and my PGWP expiring Fed, 2017

I talked to my lawyer and she told me I can buy sometime if I apply for visitor visa asking to restore my stay etc... which will take sometime around 2-3 months and hoping by that time I'll be selected on PNP or get the invitation.

Also I'm thinking to take my CELPIP test one more time to improve my scores.

However, in my case my home country in WAR right now and going back is not an option.

I was thinking to apply for H&C as last case scenario..

I was thinking to just go back to school for a year (certification) to buy me sometime while waiting for, and once I finish with the school my points will go up (since it will count as 2 degrees) and hope will get ITA then. I really don't want to go back to where I am from.

Very good option if you can support yourself during your study.

Currently I can't afford to stop working because it's my only source of income..

You can always go to work as a part time and you don't have to get a work permit for it
as long as you're working 20h/week max, you're fine.

I heard they are most likely to deny your study permit application if they see you already had a PSWP and is expiring?

(Well, cause they know what we all are trying to do going back to school after PSWP lol)

Feeling 70% chance of receiving ITA before it expires... :'(

I agree. However, until it gets denied, I'll make sure to find some other option to go with.

With CRS 473 90% chance you'll be getting the ITA in few weeks.

I was quite positive too...thinking if not the 50th/ 51st...it has to be sometime in January.
Then you see cutoff of 497 and people here are saying there's alot of former 450s - 460s int' students that were accumulated since day 1...
