this is regarding the university sealed transcripts . Can I procure them now and send after 6 months or will the CHC, ND expect transcripts obtained recently.

I am just asking coz, I can procure them now and save time later

i dont see any problem with six months old transcripts. i would say go ahead and get them to save time.

thanks ja, I think it should be fine.data on the degree/transcripts will not change and hence they may not ask for a recent transcript. It makes sense. But I am just worried.

I know, its not like PCC. The PCC has to be recent

For you and your accompanying spouse or common-law partner:
•Post-secondary education documents: vocational or technical certificates or diplomas;
•College or university documents: the graduation degree, diploma, or certificate issued by the college or university;
•If you are currently in a program of study, provide a letter from the Department Head advising the date of expected completion of your course work and expected graduation date;
•Trade / Apprenticeship documents: certificate and evidence of apprenticeship;
•Transcripts: original transcripts of all courses taken must be submitted in university or college sealed envelopes;
•Professional qualifications certificates: any proof of further training or certification relative to your current occupation/profession;

you have to send transcripts (originals) in university sealed envelope& notarized copies of rest other educational documents.

If you completed degree or diploma, you can collect transcript in advance and send to visa embassy when they required.

Remember do not open seal of transcript, it must be sealed envelope of university or college.

You can ask for addition transcript ( 2 or 3 extra) for your reference.

well said! but keep in mind that some universities send transcripts directly to CHC eg.(PU,CHANDIGARH).

This happened in my case. PU, Chandigarh refused to give transcripts by hand, if same was your case..can you please advice did u send a note stating the facts..

I hv correspondance with PU, stating they will send it directly..should i attach that with the note..
sm members are saying send them dispatch number and date
please advise..

I am not sure if this will help you but we were refused the Transcript of my wife at GNDU amritsar for the same reason that they directly send it to embassy. then we requested them that we are travelling from London and we have not yet got our approval to send these papers and we are collecting in advance to save us time. They agreed to give us sealed envelope addressed to canadian embassy, London.

Transcripts do not Expire. You can send six months old transcripts no issues

Thanks for reply..But I am not in India and they are very strict to hand over transcripts to applicant only.
