Don’t think its a bad sign. One of my friends wife had the same scenario, she was in Africa. They will ask about ur case. And supporting documents.. some background questions and that will be it my friend.. pray and relax....

The case with a Friend of mine, they started doing background before reviewing his application, he is an applicant from Saudi Arabia as private sponsorship, timeline for processing from Saudi is 16 months, he applied before 11 months, according to ur information is starting background check before reviewing his application is bad sign....?
