Received my first email with my application number requesting an updated police certificate. No specific AOR email. Does this mean the application is considered otherwise complete or could it still be returned?

If the application number begins with F, it is considered complete (in sense will not be returned, they can still ask for more).

Yes! I was worried about forms I thought I filled out wrong, whether they would accept certain documents, etc. Good to know that I haven't lost 5 months of time. Others are often not so lucky.
