In your experience, if I call them and ask this question.. why it didn’t change anything snd no updated after 2 weeks.. Is it good idea of not

My Answer:
- Do they answer? Difficult to reach!
- They are gentle on the phone, you can ask.
- They use the same “ formula “ in answering, almost same emails.
For me you call them / email them.

I saw update on tracker that "Interview is scheduled on 27 September". Waiting for further instruction on email. Test was done in November 2021 so it took 10 months for next step(Interview) in my case.

@Dreamlad I think they intentionally slow the process of all the applications that have gone through the interview. It has been three months since the interview, 6 months since Decision Made, no feedback at all.
That's completely wrong and unfair the way they are processing older cases.

So you had interview 3 months after Decision Made. Was everything except oath set to Completed when you first got to Decision Made as well as now? This would suggest that a "Decision Made" is not really Decision Made/approval of the application as we all have been led to think ...

I realize that some people mistake Decision Made for test completed status. I see many updates on excel tracker people just mark Decision made after test is done and marked completed. I doubt its the same case here. I may be wrong.

@trumprefugee, @oldenuf l had decision made before the interview. On March 26th I had all the Tabs green on the new portal and decision made on the old portal. In June when I asked my MP to contact IRCC regarding my application, he came back with the information that I was going to be called for an interview, two days later I received the interviews invitation.

I have been suspecting that decision made does not always mean decision made. You are the first person I have heard of where your application wasn't really approved and oath-ready after DM. I have been suspecting that this happened to me as well, because it took unusually long for me to get an oath invite after my DM (and yes, everything had moved to Completed to me, and my GCMS notes had indicated that my application had been approved as of June 10). I think my application was not really approved until later.

Test outside of Canada:
- you are going to be asked for proof of exit/ entry ( by email from IRCC)
- The update of interview is going to be showing (same time ), in IRCC website + email with invitation & instructions.
- There is NO rules , can’t say how long you can wait to receive email from IRCC for interview.
For example:
- I gave citizenship test August 2021. Request for proof of exit/ entry in Canada after test, July 2022.
Interview September 2022.
IRCC does not use mail - only emails
Interview was in person ( for me). May be can be done outside of Canada, too.
You can not calculate the days/ months/ years, everything depends to IRCC.

I did pass the same situation. Today I am expecting the day of Oath, received update for October 2022

I AM ALREADY IN CANADA CAME LAST YEAR IN NOVEMBER, AND MY PR CARD WILL EXPIRE IN OCTOBER AND APPLIED FOR PR CARD EXTENSION LASTWEEK.
