After citizenship test how long does it take to finalize the application(Scarborough office )?
My test was done in March

I have completed test on 15 Nov and it is almost 6 months and no update at all. So i will suggest to stay positive and pray to God because SCR office will test your patience for long time.

you know what really grind my gears...… i am part of a FB group for this stuff and there are people who are outside of Canada for test/interview/oath, they all come and ask the same question " can i take my test/interview/oath outside of Canada " or the have to reschedule either one of the items and still get granted their citizenship before people like myself and end up getting their passports quickly because they have a ticket to run back to wherever they were during this whole process. at this point if i get virtual oath i will show up in a construction vest and a hardhat lol. i just had to send another email to scarb office because people are getting invite DAYS, yes DAYS after "ghost updates" which is DM on the ecas tracker. for a ppl rescheduling oath and still getting ahead of ppl who have been waiting?

Send email to SCR office two months after each update. Apply for ATIP after two months. SCR office is totally in shit. Seems like they do not know how to handle or they are masters in discrimination.

No, according to the tracker the average is around 3-4 months. How are you coming up with 6-8 months ? It’s only been over 2 months since February?

It's been 3 months mate- we are in May now. My conjecture on 8 months reflects the new timing in light of the Ukraine war, and that it's now 27 months.

Nope i got a reply today basically saying to fuck off stop emailing us, call cic or use webform, well thats how i read it. some freaking part time studentt irc agent that dont give a rats ass about anything.

i swear for my oath i will be wearing a safety vest and a hard hat. im realy tired of this like the fact that i applied to renew my PR card and they denied it saying im at a point were my citizen ship will soon be granted and it has now been a year since and i just filed another tax return. I'm pissed ppl , and the MPs and mpps dont give a shit. all these petitions and news cycles changes nothing. its unbelievable. i think I'm even more pissed now knowing it will take forever to get a passport.

thats my first rant in this forum for the ten + years ive been on here, im just over this,

There is no email backlog at local offices unlike the call centre that takes 2 months, but they don't want to reply.
