Just state all the facts and also mention the current pandemic situation where healthcare system is clogged and there may be future delays in receiving urgent healthcare. Hopefully, that should be sufficient and a peace of mind that you gave it a shot.

Normally Sunnybrook has gynae department dealing with high risk. May want to call them to see if they can give urgent care as required.

That makes sense, I will make it as clear as possible.

I am sorry to turn this into a medical thread, but do I need a family doctor referral for Sunnybrooke OB or can I get an appointment directly? Thank you, you have been very helpful.

My timeline is similar as yours..no oath invite yet..
Office: Scarborough
Application Received : 25th April 2019
First invite: 19th March 2020(Cancelled due to Covid)
Test passed: 23th Feb 2021
Decision Made: Don’t know the exact date,i believe status changed in April 2nd week.
Waiting for oath now. Completed almost 2 years

You do need a referral but the doctor treating you should be able to submit it electronically.

Have your old passports and IDs with you. Be calm as it will not be as bad as you may think.

Very standard process - nothing out of the ordinary. Just have all your documents and IDs ready - would only take ~10 mins.

Have you seen DM on your Ecas? I have been only focused on Scarborough and Mississauga. Perhaps others in this group can comment on expected timelines of Hamilton office.

Thanks for update. Delivery in 7 days is pretty good timelines given covid and other issues.
