Hina nadeem i have one query ...As you said you send HEC attested documents instead of University attested documents to IQAS ?
i want to use the same procedure.

Yes, register urself on HEC website u will understand the procedure. When you upload your docx on hec portal, they do the verification by the uni itself and than ask u to come for attestation.

I had two degrees which I wanted to assess from IQAS:

BACHELORS OF COMPUTER ENGINEERING
SIR SYED UUNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY aka (SSUET)

MASTERS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
INSTITUE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT aka (CBM/IoBM)

Applying online and payment of fees:

I created an account on IQAS website and completed online form (iqas.work.alberta.ca/eca#/)

Before starting this you need to have your school, college and universities' documents with you.

You need to have your debit/credit card with you (IQAS accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit or Interac), I used Mastercard Credit Card.

It will take around 15-30 minutes to complete the application.

After submitting your application, you must get notification email with the application form and document checklist attached.

IQAS reference number is "Application Id" in your email. It is also mentioned in the application form (Bottom left corner of each page)

Reference number is important, note it down as it must be mentioned in the transcript request forms which you will submit in universities for the degree/transcript verification.

Visiting and getting sealed envelope from IoBM:

Download the Transcript request form from IQAS website and fill your part/section. (alberta.ca/documents/IQAS/academic-records-request-form.pdf)

Email the filled form to "transcripts.grades@iobm.edu.pk". Do not forget to enter (Application Id/Reference Number) in the form

I brought color copies of my transcript (1) and degree (1) with original transcript and degree of my MBA

I visited transcript office which is adjacent to M.S Sabina room.

Request the representative to verify your copies and fill the form which you sent via email earlier.

He will verify (stamp) your degrees, fill and print the form. You must sign the form and write the date on the form. After that, he will accompany you to MS Sabina office to have her signature on the form.

You will have to submit 50 RS in finance department for the IoBM official seal. Get the receipt and get back to MS Sabina office, the assistant will then show you signed forms and stamps, check the information carefully as they are going to be sealed now. Give receipt to the MS Sabina assistant and he will seal the envelope containing:

Your verified color copy of transcript
Your verified color copy of degree
Transcript request form (IQAS)

I was worried about my name difference, as I have the following scenario:
My name was "Syed Jon Doe Zaidi" on my passport and CNIC. However, my name in all educational documents were "Jon Doe". I created an affidavit on 100 rupees stamp paper in which I mentioned that both are same persons and sent this with my all documents too.

I also mentioned in the checklist document that my universities asked me to send sealed envelopes on their behalf and IQAS can contact the universities to verify this.

Timelines:

Documents submitted at Fed ex: 21 Jan, 2016
Documents delivered to IQAS: 25 Jan, 2016
First confirmation email from IQAS: 26 Jan, 2016
Second confirmation email from IQAS: Feb 10, 2017 (Got the ECA results. Attached online certificate in a PDF form)
Documents dispatched from IQAS: Feb 10, 2017
Documents delivered to me: Have not given me any tracking number (Who cares, I can submit my profile, right?)

Results of ECA:
BS SSUET (Pak) = four year bachelor degree (Canada)
MBA CBM (Pak) = Master of business administration degree (Canada)

Request of academic record form also sealed with educational verified copies or send separately to IQAS.
Can I downloaded all forms from website or after submiting online application downloaded through IQAS email.
Some people said that through email forms mention some type of ID in bottom. Kindly guide me

I studied from IQRA university Islamabad campus, But i got my degree from main campus Karachi. Where should I get my sealed envelop from?
Islamabad campus or karachi campus.?
I live in Islamabad and don't know about karachi campus .

I have already got my original documents attested from HEC and I have taken the appointment for the verification of photocopies.
Below are my queries :
1- Should I make back to back photocopy of my degree? If I go for back to back photocopy, HEC attested stamp will appear on the photocopy.

2- Does IQAS accept verification from HEC? I am very confused . IQAS says the following
"Official copy / Copy certified by the issuing institution or attested by the Higher Education Commission
(HEC) Pakistan".

3- In this case should I add "Academic request form" in sealed envelop? Because HEC does not sign that form.

Here are my queries regarding IQAS ECA.
I sent these queries to IQAS.

1- "Request of Academic Record" form sealed with verified educational documents or send separately with sealed envelops.

2- All forms download from website or fill online application first then download from IQAS email, because some people say IQAS send form after submitting application . These forms have some type of ID in bottom. ?

3- My institute refuse to send documents directly to IQAS, can i send these documents by my self?

4- I and my wife both need ECA from IQAS. Can we send our documents to IQAS through separate courier or send in one courier with 2 sealed envelops of both of us. Is this method is correct ?

Answer which I received from IQAS.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding applying to the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) for an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).

The reference number is generated when the applicant completes the IQAS online application (the complete application is automatically emailed to applicants). It can be found at the bottom left corner of the application form. Used when filling the “Documents Request” form used in ECA application process.

The Request for Academic Records form it should be included along with your transcript in a sealed envelope.

Generally IQAS accepts official transcripts/mark sheets that confirm graduation, and which are sent directly by the issuing institution. Official transcripts sent directly by the issuing institution(s) may be a photocopy of the diploma supplement bearing the institution(s)’ respective stamps on them. We do not require the original transcripts issued to a student upon graduation, and no other form of legalization is required.

However, in cases where the issuing institution cannot send transcripts directly to IQAS, they may provide you with a sealed envelope with your attested transcripts enclosed which may be couriered by you to our office. The envelope must remain sealed, and has to be stamped with the institution’s official seal across the back flap. If there are concerns about the integrity of the documents, our office will contact you.

Yes, you can send both your application packages in one courier envelope. We suggest you to put each in their own envelope with the courier envelope and label them clearly with the name and reference number so that IQAS knows there is two applications in one package.

2. It can be used for any category of immigration to any province.
