Hey guys!
Need urgent suggestions. I am a student who finished my 2 years of studies in Canada in April 23. My father passed away on May 28, 2023, and I need to invite my mom and brother here for some time. I am currently on PGWP Implied status. I will be naming my brother as the primary applicant and my mom as his supporting family member. Now my question is should I state my father's demise as a reason to visit in the letter of invitation? Because that is actually the reason, and my mom will be going back with my brother to take care of him. My brother has a business in India and that will be the major reason for his return. What should I do?

How old is your brother? Why would your father’s passing require them to come to Canada? Would make more sense for you to India.

He is 26. It’s only my mother who would actually visit. I need to apply for my brother too because he will be the primary applicant.

He can’t be the primary applicant. He is an adult and can not be on the same application as your mother. Because he is not under 22 but especially a minor he is not viewed as a tie to India. He is an adult and can care for himself. If your mother has property in India that would be a tie for example.
