I am planning to apply for a Canadian Temporary Resident Visa for my brother (23 years old) to attend my religious wedding ceremony in August 2026. The visit will be short (approximately 10–12 days) and limited strictly to the wedding.
My brother is a full-time undergraduate student in India (enrolled since August 2025, studies ongoing until 2028). His application will include proof of enrollment, fee receipts, and a No Objection Certificate from his college allowing leave for a limited period. A prior study gap is explained due to family responsibilities before resuming his education. He resides at our family home in India and independently manages household responsibilities, including caring for our family dog. Travel expenses will be supported by our father (employed abroad), and accommodation in Canada will be provided by me (I am a Permanent Resident).
I would appreciate feedback on the overall strength of the application, any potential red flags, and approval chances based on recent trends.
