Hi. I received pre arrival services letter on 14th DEC 2017 (i.e. 1 day after my interview).
Can anyone tell what's next?

thats god sign i heard,,next u wil have ur background check starts then DM,,and i also had that next day of interview,,jan 2018 first week going to be good 1 hopefullyu

We were just asked to submit some additional wedding photographs. VO did not tell us to wait until first week of Jan. However, my interview went well and the very next day I received pre-arrival services letter. I think this delay is due to christmas holidays. M hoping this new year will bring a good news for us.

,,what about your background check ,,did it went to in process on week time,,most of interview applicant got their bgc started after interview within week

Yes, it was updated to 'in process'.

My wife just got a "pre-arrival" letter. I wonder how long it takes between this and getting PR. We applied in May of last year.

Hi, my son received the same pre-arrival invitation a few days ago as well. We live in Ontario, and OHIP is apparently available for people for have applied for PR and are eligible and have not yet been denied. Like most people are saying, if getting this invitation means that my son is eligible for PR, does that mean he can apply for OHIP?

Is there any truth to this? Because I would like to get my wife to apply for OHIP in that case.

Based on the majority of threads I've read - it looks like a decision is around the corner. There are some cases where the DM took 1-2 months, but in some cases after this letter, some people got a DM in like 8 days!

We are on day 4 of waiting after this letter. Will update if I hear anything.

next week is 2 months after i got this letter and nothing yet. i sent an email to embassy but no response!

Wow, yours has been super fast Canuser. We applied in the beginning of May. I'm pretty sure CIC had some computer issues at that time that caused us to not get the requests that we were supposed to get and that has screwed things up for us.

You need your copr paper for ohip and after that takes 3 months

When did ndvo ask you for additional wedding photos? How long before the interview?
