Hi , My mum has just received pre-services email. Her medical has been completed.
I noticed folks mentioned background check. What does the background check involve ? Is this about the police clearance docs that were requested ? These too have been provided. Thanks in advance for all responses.

Just wait for the PPR probably within 8 or 15 days.

Anyone knows why takes too long waiting for ppr after pre arrival invitation??
And why here in the philipiines takes too long of waiting?

Sa case ko po after 8 days lumabas na ung PPR ko. Case to case po minsan, yung background check na nakalagay sa status nyo mag uupdate yan once na approved na ung visa nyo. Kahit PPR na kayo same pa rin ung status nun background checking pa rin. Kailan po yung 1 year from the start na narecieved ng CIC yung application nyo?

Sa december pa naman. Yung iba ko kasing napag tanungan 3 weeks lang after mareceive nila pre arrival nila meron na silang ppr, mejo confuse nako kasi yung ibang nababasa ko dto sa forum mabibilis lang. salamat po..

Just wait your mum will receive an email for the PPR, it may takes sometime. Some of it 8 days some of it 2 months.

Ako December applicant and nreceived ko ang pre arrival last June. And I'm still waiting for background check and ppr.
