I think not all got pre arrival letter get their passport request or DM right away. Especially here in MVO mostly they send pre arrival letter after 6 months they received the application and then another 6 months to wait for the BACKGROUND CHECK. MVO applicants need a long patients of waiting to get finish with the application. So to those who got their pre arrival and then PPR within a month CONGRATULATIONS to all of you .

Hi Bree15 we have the same timeline im still waiting for DM and PPR we ask our MP last month they said my bgc is pending, im also worried because my medical exam is expiring this month im hoping to receive a good news before the medical expires

What is your VO?
I have the same problem and I have the feeling that they don't really care and do that to pay for medical exam again. I saw on the other forums that you must lend before your medical exam expires...

I finally got my ready for visa yesterday, I applied through the Quebec skilled worker program from inside Canada. For everyone else's reference timeline is below:

Application received by CIC March 22, 2017
Paid additional permanent residence fee Sep 15, 2017
Medical done in Dec 2017, passed
Invitation to prearrival services Feb 17, 2018
Ready for visa: July 3, 2018

I'm an Iranian graduate and I know there were some concerns that our applications were being delayed but that hasn't turned out to be the case. The current delay is about 16months and mine was done in just over 15 months.

Application received by CIC : June 27, 2017
Medical passed: August 19, 2017
Invitation to Pre arrival services: June 2, 2018
PPR: June 8, 2018
ADVO passport received: June 14, 2018

Now just waiting for my passport with Visa and COPR.. Praying it will release next week because my flight is on July 20, 2018.

I have the same problem and I have the feeling that they don't really care and do that to pay for medical exam again. I saw on the other forums that you must lend before your medical exam expires...

Its Manila Visa office ,thats true you must land before the expiration of your medical exam mine will expire end of this month.
