Hi all,

I would like to know if I can send an invitation letter for my sister to come to Canada for a visit while I receive employment insurance benefits.

Please let me know if me receiving employment insurance will effect her getting a visa.

Are you sponsoring your sister's visit? If yes, the it will be an issue. Generally, the applicant is responsible for paying for the trip.. So it might not be a problem If she is paying for the trip and you can offer to stay at your place.

I am no expert, Others might add to or give a different opinion.
