we got DM today
but i still have my Indian mailing address on the ECAS, is it unusual to have indian address instead of Canadian address even after DM
is there anyone else, who has faced same problems. i got "in process" on saturday and it took only one day from "in process" to DM

thanks thomas i got the reason for not showing Canadian address, we didnt provide my wife's residential address in application forms. we updated her address this morning on ECAS, i hope they will fix it soon.

yes you can contact them via email and send them all details for sponsor and applicant such as UCI no., File number, name, date of birth and name of visa office. attach consent form with email to allow your MP to contact CIC on your behalf.

tick the first box in front of " i authorize citizenship and immigration canada and................................"
put sponsor's detail in question 1,2,3 and 4 and leave 5 &6 blank. put sponsor's signature as applicant.
after sending email, call the MP office and tell them about your situation.

VO basically asked me only few questions..

Everything about my wify - her birthdate, her education details, her parents, sister info..etc etc..
When and where did you get married?
What trips to went to?
Did you plan for child?? If not, why not??
Why did you went to UK?
Background of my family..
It was preety short interview of 15 to 20 minss

My VO was an Indian... So i communicated with him in hindi...without an interpreter..

Anyways.....just sharing my experience.

- My wife went on time ......they asked for the interview letter than she was told to sit near the reception.
-Interview time was 8:45 am started at 9:05 am ....the VO was an Indian.
He told that if your answers satisfy me I will approve ur visa.
He asked about ....0. why do you want to go to Canada ? 1. Our 1st meeting, 2. when and where I proposed and dates.
3. My Canadian address 4. whether I am owing the place or renting ? what rent i m paying ? where do i work ? Whats the name of the company?
My designation ? 5. why she was not staying with in-laws ? and than he asked proof for that our relationship was old meaning some old e-mails of 2007 and she also took some hand written letters ...he saw that ans said .... Your visa is approved !!! and you will get your passport within next 15 days...

How long did it take for you guys to get the passport back ??

only you can accompany her in the interview not your daughter. you both can apply for entry visa valid for 5 years. you can apply for indian origin card (PIO card) also but it will take longer.
and if she needs to submit her mother's death certificate, she needs only photocopy not original.

Our VO is New Delhi, My husband forgot to write that his UK visitor visa was refused in 2007, (Background Declaration Schedule A) Point 6.

But he wrote that his canada tourist visa was refused before marriage as he wants to give me surprise before marriage and also ticked in the point 6(d) YES. Should he resend the form also mentioning about his UK tourist Visa Refusal, because also he has stamp in the passport about UK.

He travelled many countries for business also travelled UK too, but just missed to write about this Uk refusal he had once.

Is this misrepresentation ? or can he resend new form also mentioning about UK and send to Canada or Delhi will they accept it !

still application is in canada(missi) for sponsor approval , file no. is not generated.

Anyone who can pls advise this is serious.

Hello!

I have an interviw this month as well.
It wasn't what we expected but now we have to deal with it.
If your relatioship its genuine its going to be easy, only thing you have to do its a lot of printing that's all .

Bring everything what that asked for and that's it.
Proofs of your relationship the most important, not the ones you already sent along with your application but the ones after that...(for sure have to be something...hard tostay apart of your wife/husband...)

PS You should consider you very lucky becouse you are coming from India, I haven't seen such a fast VO as New Delhi, they give visas as the "bakers make bread.." piece of cake...so no worries!

I wanted to say: a lot of printing...

I mean, when you are having a interview request, the important thing to do it's printing a lot of proofs of your relationship.

Like: printing emails, photos, plane tickets, train tikets, hotel's bills tikets....etc...skype converstaions....

You have to be well prepared for an interview.

You have to convince the immigration officer that your relationship its genuine and you have good intentions.

Sometimes at it was in my case, the questions of my interview were about my travel history (I used to live in Paris for 4 year) and I had a previous marriage (15 years of marriage).
