PLEASE HELP THANKS IN ADVANCE - VERY IMPORTANT!!! :o :o :o :-\ :-\

While everyone else is so happy, on our GCMS notes, they stated that they could not not move ahead with our case for 3 reasons: no biodata on back of card, forgot to put ND as visa office in medical form, and "Sponsor: Canadian citizen residing in England (according to one of the forms, she was supposed to resume residency on March 30, 2012." :o :o :-\ :-\

I had a ticket to return to UK from India, and she was going to buy a ticket from there to Canada. I was going to return then if my mother was able to come to India and visit my husband's family and return with her (but not possible because of her mother's health problems). I need to be protected by my husband, have him with me to travel across the world, which I cannot do alone and living without my husband for a long and unknown amount of time will disable me because I am not able to continue anything in my life or make plans without my husband. We are both together in India now and attending interview together at the end of the month.

What should we do in this case? I need him emotionally and to be there for me, I is not well not because of the situation in India (I suffered with malaria, heat wave sickness, severe stomach infections and breathing problems, weakness the entire time I have been here, 6 months) and I feel like I am being punished just because of stress and pressure to return to Canada without my husband, which is very unfair, especially because I would not know when we would see each other again, and our anniversary is next month). My husband (applicant, is not working right now because of my health, and he is the only one who is able to take me to the doctor if needed and the only one here who knows English and can understand me.

I am currently on a 5 year entry visa (like tourist visa). I am thinking that they might say "Sponsor, you go and establish yourself back in Canada ALONE, find a job and start your studies again. Applicant, you go establish your ties to India ALONE and find a full time job and work for a while before you can get visa". To me that idea is against basic human rights and as a Canadian citizen as it is forced separation and gives me a sick feeling about my country. I always feel ready to pass out, sometimes ready to pass away with the extreme heat and dust and problems caused by them. :o :o :'( :'(

PLEASE give some suggestions!!! I feel I am doing something wrong just because I want to be with my husband, and it is not fair that our family is torn apart by someone saying, "Oh, dont you know you are not allowed to live with your husband during the process?" :'( :'( :-\ :-\

I mean that CIC has a rule that they sponsor should not be outside of Canada during the process, and if they are, they need to prove they will return to Canada when the applicant gets PR. One of the reasons for my interview was "sponsor is currently outside Canada and did not return on the date stated on the forms". What do you think I should do as I am still in India and it would cause problems for us to be separated for an unknown and long time (at least 2 months more). How can we explain this to the visa office in interview?

thanks and good luck! :)

yes we are still together in India and its my wife (sponsor) who is stressed about interview ;) we know that interview is just to correct some silly mistakes that we made in our application forms. i know, they are concerned about my tourist visa rejection and her return to Canada also but we have more than enough stuff to convince them. only thing, i am worried about is "length of interview" its 45 minutes, which is little bit too long i think :)

hi all

Wow what a morning. My interview lasted 1 hr. My wife and me were interviewed separately. The questions from the that list of 83 questions were not asked really. Out of those maybe 5 were asked. The visa officer asked about my wife's family background( who was in canada, India, how many brothers my wife's dad has, ect.) He was a little rude with me, but was not rude with my wife as she is a Canadian born citizen. The visa officer asked the same question in 4 different ways- tried to trick me. Remember all your dates( when u met, anniversary, marriage). He asked a lot about my brother- as he is abroad and is married to my wife's sister. He also asked some personal questions- when physical relationship started, how, where. He didn't look at any of our documents, just phone bills. At the end he stated he needed about 10-15 days to decided and will let us know in writing. My wife will be extending her ticket and will be staying in India with me.

Everyone please be ready for cross questioning, and make sure your spouse has the same story for every questions because they asked me and then my wife the same questions.

If you would like to know anything else, please let me know:)

Good luck to Everyone

hi ankit,
i was waiting for your post for last few hours. i hope you will receive your visa soon.
did they say anything about decision, did they ask you to submit your passport today?
can you check your inbox or share your email address here?
best of luck to both of you :)

Hi,

Sorry, its just to hot in Delhi, we were cooling off in the AC.
No they did not say what the decision was, and no i did not submit my passport. I don't know what the decision will be. He said he will have to review everything. my wife will be emailing her MP tomorrow when we reach home as she is just fed up with this nonsense. The interview is not as bad as we were thinking, just a lot of cross questioning, and repeatably asking the same questioning.

Ankit _sonam - good you shared your experience. Hope all goes well for you. I think you should expect some good news! Good luck

I am not sure but Is it not a good idea to buy return ticket to canada now which can be shown at the time of your interview as a proof that you will be returning back? Just a guess which might work

maybe but they know that we can cancel ticket after interview ;) we have sent many other proofs such as her bank statements, investments, old admission letter (2008) she is a 2nd year student so will be finishing her degree in 2014. letter from mother stating our plans and we can live with her and she will provide all kind of helps.
now we are going to take her medical reports from doctors ;) , she is feeling unwell because of Indian weather, heat waves, dust and all other things.
we have around 10 medical reports including blood report, ultrasound, stomach infection, chest x-ray and malaria :o
i think they should understand that she will return right after they issue my Visa.
