Iqbal please share your plan as you are landing earlier in June i hope you have worked over tickets and their rates and in which province you wish to settle ...........and which airline you would like to travel .........

Totally depends on visa officer ..........how much time he takes ........some time in a month and sometime in a year ............yes i have received medical after my interview.........

Yes I booked my tickets for 10th of June. I will first land in Toronto Ontario. I will stay with my brother for few weeks. During this time I will open bank account and will apply for SIN (social security number) Inshallah. After that I will plan to leave for BC Inshallah

I shopped around for air-fares. These days PIA is the cheaper one. For adult its fare is 90k and for kids age b/w 2 to 12 is 70k.
Plus this is a direct flight so it will also save some time.

You can check Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotia Bank). I have an account with them (also with another bank) and they provide excellent service with much less fees compared with other banks.

SIN application will be done at the POE when you land and immediately be given to you. SIN card will follow by mail after 2 weeks.

I am worried about luggage allowance 2 piece per person
Not more than 25 kg..
An other worry is polio certificate for adults also.Where to get them?
Implementation starts from 1 june 2014 for people travelling from pakistan.

I first visited Etobicoke last 2001 because my friend lives there.

I have a house in Ajax ON, and a Condo unit in Thornhill ON where my son lives. He is an International Student at York University.
