Internship under study permit for work experience

So, I have read that if an internship is undertaken study permit without being a full-time student, that internship can be counted as the work experience. The company that worked for, didn't give any tax form for my job. I can provide a letter to prove my work experience, but do I need to provide tax forms for this particular employment?
