Hi, I just want to write that I could be wrong for answering your question. I talked with an agent in CIC. The agent told me that they are on the same boat like appliants who apply through Interim Pathway.

Yes, I believe that you can apply if you have job experiences as a nanny.

Hi. Do you mean when you asked they said PGWP is fine?

No. They don’t know either. You can try to ask the agent if you are eligible for applying. One thing I know that you won’t be able to extend your work permit. Check CIc website about Open workpermit for interim pathway. You have to have the workpermit based on LMIA. My understanding is you don’t have the one so you might apply through the new pathway but won’t be able to extend your status. Also this is just my judgement after I spoke to the agent. But they don’t know how it will work. I think you shouldn’t take a risk. If you are eligible for Caring for Children, I think it is better to do.
