Hey guys. Quick question. Do we need to send a copy of CSQ to IRCC upon receipt? Or do they a
Apparently you don't need to, Québec is supposed to inform IRCC of the decision. But I see that a lot of people send a copy through a webform, so it never hurts to do that just to have peace of mind.

I currently have a PR through Express Entry and will be landing shortly, I was recently offered a job in Quebec but I am not sure if I should accept it or not. I am definitely not accepting it until I finish my landing process.

Since I also plan to get married to a non-citizen after I start my job, can I still sponsor her even though I got my PR through the express entry program? Does it matter if its Inland or Outland?

Once you are a PR, you are free to move to any province anyway.

You definitely can sponsor her, inland or outland, once you are a PR. However, if you already reached the common-law status (living together in a marital relation for 12 consecutive months) before you land as a PR, then you have to declare her before landing otherwise you will never be able to sponsor her. If you did not reach common-law status prior to landing, you have nothing to declare and you will be allowed to sponsor her after either a marriage or after reaching the common-law status.

We haven't reached a common law status as we have been in a long distance relationship from a long time. So i guess I am in the clear :) thanks for the info!

Hello Haire,
Will we receive confirmation letter from IRCC after uploading CSQ certificate? I did the same for my wife but we did not get any confirmation letter.
Do you receive any interview ??

My husband and I have received our letters from IRCC stating that " have met the Federal requirements for eligibility as a sponsor."
Meanwhile, my husband's letter says, "It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class."

My question is, what doe this mean, what are the next steps? Do we wait for further information? We have already paid the Right of Permanent Resident Fee (RPRF) in our original application.

What is your timeline?
What you have received is SA (Sponsor Approval). It seems what your husband has received is AIP (Approval in Principle). If so, next step should be medical request if not requested before already.

The Schedule A and Medical Exams have already been asked and received. How long should it be for the next step? Any idea how long Part 2 is and what they will be asking us?

You are approaching the end. All you are missing now is decision made, and a letter for your interview. From what I have seen, you can expect to hear again from them within about a month for the interview if all is good.

Or is there something else I'm missing? His passport hasn't been stamped with his PR yet

Congratulations! Are you in Montreal? If so, you have to go to the office when it is open. What does your letter say?

Passports don't get stamped for inlanders (and when they do, it's only for people that are not visa-exempt). You will receive your COPR at your interview.
