A quick question:
I am a US citizen and I am allowed to be in Canada for six months. I submitted both PR and OWP and both are in progress. I have stayed past the six months by ~ one month. Do I have implied status?

Hi all, these are what I see when I log into the system.
  1. We received your application for permanent residence on Jan 16, 2019.
  2. We sent you medical instructions on March 19, 2019.
  3. Medical results have been received
And
  1. We received your application for permanent residence on Jan 16, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application on March 7, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on March 6, 2019.
This is all the information I am given. I applied for the OWP at the same time as my original application. In Mach, I was sent a page back for the OWP as it was missing a signature. I signed it and filled out a new one just in case and sent them back the very next day. Should I have anything saying that my OWP is in process or something? At this point I have not had any metion of it anywhere since sending the document back.

Has anyone else had issues like this at all?

Did you apply for PR and OWP while you were in status (legally in Canada)??

Yes I did. January 4th was when CIC received my application for both PR and OWP. I had to resubmit my OWP because of missing fee. Resubmitted OWP was received March 26th.

Were you STILL in status when you resubmitted corrected OWP application? Implied status would not be sufficient.

Yes I was technically supposed to leave May 12th. I thought I had implied status but I became nervous when I read someone else's post.

I think I just got one of those 'ghost updates' on CIC website, it says 'update on my application', but no actual updates, BGC has been processing since May 7th, the eligibility still has not started yet. Hopefully, it is a good sign.
