Dec 7th applicant. I did my landing today at CIC Etobicoke. It was very quick, provided the required documents and some details (date of last entry) and got my COPR in 5 mins. Good luck everyone and thanks a lot for the support throughout the process!!

Hi everyone, My wife and I applied for Inland on Jun11 and she came back in on a visitor visa from Mexico on May 1.
Application sent: Jun 10/2019
Application received: Jun 11/2019
AOR: Sep 12/2019

We also applied for an Open work Visa to allow us to visit her friends in Mexico during the process but that takes 4 months to be processed.
We hope to travel to Mexico for 2 weeks in October.

I talked with Immigration on the phone and the agent told me that since Mexico is a Visa waiver country, my wife can enter and exit Canada during the Application process on the Visitor Visa.

She cautioned however that she is not a CBSA agent and if for whatever reason the CBSA took issue with her re-entering, we would have to re-apply with my wife living in Mexico.
I plan to talk with CBSA to see if it is ok for my wife to enter and exit during this process. However I want to know if anyone here has any advice.
