Planning to sponsor my wife and have few question, I'm in Quebec and my wife is in BC because she under work permit from company there

I'm planning to sponsor her but have few questions

Her previous relationship she was in common law, does she have to be separated for a year before I file for sponsorship even tho we legally married

I have conditional discharge with my previous ex for harrassment
Will this prevent me from sponsoring my wife

Is one of you planning on relocating so that you are living together before you submit the inland application? Inland is only possible if you are cohabitating.

I don't believe the conditional discharge will be a problem.

We plan to get her move to quebec once get AIP stage because right now she working and her work permit only allow her to work for that company

That's a bad plan. You need to be living together at the time the application is submitted or you can anticipate problems. If moving together before you submit the application is not an option, apply outland.
