I've just got a ghost e-mail. Nothing changed in MyCIC (I saw "updated" status yesterday), ECAS still is not accessible.

have you got ghost email before 2 weeks? same thing happened for me too, but on November 1st or 2nd I think.

ok.. if everything go as per June applicants' trend, we should receive DM by November end. Most probably they might be waiting for all July applicants to be processed to send out batch DM/PPR.

I believe there should be a DM batch this week. They tend to do DM batches once in 4 weeks.
 
Looks like they've stopped using ECAS for applications submitted through My CIC (makes sense if you think about it), so we might not hear anything until passport time. My UCI linked ECAS has been terminated as well as the EE linked account.

But MyCIC doesn't indicate application status, so it doesn't make sense.
 
My CIC let's you know as much as they want you to know, which is very little, so that they can avoid accountability. In my experience with CIC over quite a few years, several work permits and a CEC permanent residency application before this FSW one, CIC is incredibly opaque and that's the way they like it.
in My CIC you see the status of your applicatrion in two ways: the first page where it says "submitted/updated" changes to "approved" if you are approved.
the second page lets you track the progress through "open/closed/cancelled" tab and "medicals/back ground check/documents required" etc.

It changes to approved only after visa was stamped and copr issued :( So it doesn't indicate application status at all...
 
Got a ghost email today, no visible updates in MyCIC, yesterday I saw "updated" in MyCIC though.

what is your AOR date? Anyway its a good sign. CIC is working on our application. Hopefully we will get good news soon.

AOR: 13/07, Med Passed+ECAS Access(Application rcvd) : 28/07, Back Check in process: 14/08. Hope everything goes fine.

Received GCMS notes yesterday. R10: OK, fund: Met, RCMP: No trace found, Med: Passed, Criminality: In progress, Security: Not started, Eligibility: Not started.
