Just received ghost email. no updates on MYCIC. Hope it's positive. ECAS still not working

Let's hope this is a good sign and it's a Tuesday. Are there any other July Inland FSW with ghost email today?

So, I replied for fairness letter and waiting for reply. Those who doesn't know, FYI, i received fairness letter from CIC and i had posted that in this thread.

Is it normal to see updated on myCIC account and when i click to see update, there is no update? I didn't received any ghost mail or any other notification. Also, once i have clicked to see the update, its doesn't shows updated any more and it just shows submitted only.

Like others, my ECAS is also not working. OMG i am very scared and this wait is killing me further.

Unable to view ECAS today. Also, got "Your application has been updated" email at 11.15 AM today and there are no updates when I check my application in CIC...no idea on whats going on :'(

When did your application started processing in ECAS? It will be the 3rd line in ECAS.
For me it's 24th July and the AOR is July 15.

We cannot really interpret much from ghost emails. I submitted my application on July 15 and yours was July 21. You might received ghost email anytime.

Hi Guys I received two ghost emails on 15th Nov and today but still nothing changed eithter on Eca or mycic and backround check status is not needed at this time .Really weired any similar situation ?
It has been almost six months and I just have no idea when this will be ended

And in December they hardly have 10-15 working days and rest are holidays...looks like January

Not exactly, last year I know that they kept working on applications like crazy even on the holidays, but it was because that they wanted to finish as much paper application as possible before the EE started, so who know if this will happen this years too, hope it does =P

CIC is unpredictable. With EE system in place for 10 months we couldnt predict because of poor transparency in updating the status on their website. I still don't know why they are updating in both ECAS and MYCIC. It could be sufficient at one place to get reliable information

Medical Passed and Background Check started Aug 6, 2015
Schdule A requested Nov 6th with deadline to submit by Nov 13th
Schedule A submitted November 8th 2015
Ghost email received November 13th afternoon
Ecas 5 lines (no Ecas showing last two days)
