Hi Everyone,

I need important advice. I have submitted my application (Sponsorship + Open Work Permit) to IRCC on December 6, 2018.

AOR: Feb 1, 2019;
Request for CSQ: Feb 6, 2019;

CSQ Applied: Feb 11, 2019;
CSQ Received: March 6, 2019;

My ECAS shows " We have Started Processing your application March 25, 2019.

However, I have not received any update for my work permit. Is that normal?


Other people who applied at similar time around mine, have already got their Medical Done and OWP Issued.

If you were Out of Status when you submitted the PR+OWP your OWP will be processed after you get AIP.

You are going to get your work permit in 2020.. for out of status applicants, processing time for work permit is almost a year
