Thought I'd 'bump' this thread and see if there were any updates? We're exactly 120 days today since AOR and no updates since BG check went back to 'not needed' in Jan.

Nothing as of now scottygirl except the RPRF request last week.. Hoping for PPR at least by the end of this month..

Nothing for me.

AOR: Dec 14
Meds passed: Dec 23
Doc request: Jan 19
BGC to Not Needed: Feb 2

That's the last update I've seen on mine.

Dec 14th AOR, CEC Inland, last update was 3 months ago nothing after. No documents request.

My BOWP got approved a month ago, I applied for it on 14th Dec.

My only guess is they are first processing PNP and then may move to CEC.

Any other thoughts?

I hope so. That at least means we're next and soon.

Apparently those CEC applicants with PNP’s are currently being finalized – Nov and Dec AORs. I’m not surprised - given the fact that these applications are first scrutinized by their respective province.

To say those of us CEC applicants without a PNP will be next is just an assumption. But who knows? No one fully knows what’s really happening or CIC’s process. It depends on various factors as well, such as completion of security and criminal checks, requests for additional doc’s, workload of VO etc.

I don’t know – One guy created a forum after receiving PPR in 37 days. I’m going on 115 days. But that’s the system!

Let’s hope for the best and keep encouraging each other – I’m glad I got you guys enduring the wait we me. We are not alone!

115 days for me. I think we both got transferred to Ottawa about the same time. So hopefully our next updates is close.

I'm hoping for an update by end of April/beginning of May, but who knows :-[

we have the same timeline and same hopes :D

Any updates anyone?

Definitely looks like CIC is going through the Dec batch that was transferred to Ottawa in Jan at the moment. But starting with the PNPs.

I'm waiting to see the first set out non PNP/LMIA's start getting PR and hoping I'm among them.

No updates so far I believe for anyone without LMIA/PNP

I'm curious to know if anyone from CEC inlanders got the request for RRPF as I paid upfront so don't know what's happening currently

Lol I thought the same too.

I guess they issued PPR in one month for previous CEC inlanders so now they are catching up to bring the average processing time to 3.5 months.

Good morning folks. I got an update email and i see that my "Background Check" changed from "Not needed at this time" to "In progress" after 3.5 months of being in that state. oh Well, some progress which I was happy to see.
