I haven't seen a single CEC application from December get PPR yet.
I don't know if there's something holding up CEC applications in general (specially those that are not PNP-supported).

Hopefully all of us CEC applicants will start getting some love again soon.

There are people still waiting from OCT and NOV (CEC applicants), the most ignored category.. ???

Why there is delay in CEC processing? According to the year end report, average processing for CEC was 3.7 months. But then why this delay?

The year end report shows statistics only till NOV i think. It became really slow after that, I am not counting those numbers..

Just checked MyCIC and it said 'updated' - background check has gone from 'not needed' to 'in progress'!!! :-X I know it maybe a while before PPR email but v excited as there has been no movement on my account since January. Didn't receive any ghost email, usually check my account every couple of days so not sure the exact date it changed.

Update : just rec'd email this morning saying there was an update on my account so BG must have been changed yesterday.

I am without LMIA/PNP and my background check is also in progress from yesterday
