Did you check on ecas. If your sponsor and permanent residence status is both'approved' then you're good! You'll get your landing interview anytime now.
Hey! Same situation here. Decision made on august 1st for both PA and sponsor.and when i called them this morning they said to wait for landing interview.. from some of the other applicants i see that average after 15-20 days after'decision made' you usually get landing interview.
I got my interview letter by email just about a month after DM on ecas— ecas never did update, nor did GCKEY ever update... until today, after my interview 
now it finally has updated, so hang in there, every one, even though the lack of updates is so rough. Things are moving, even if the online systems don’t reflect that!

I just wanted to ask how much time usually they give you when they schedule the interview? After a week or so ?
I was going to ask the same thing. I thought after DM we would receive a letter immediately or pretty quick...but I guess not. I'm sure it also depends on your local office as well.
I think it really varies by office. I had a little over two weeks’ notice and that seems typical for my local office, maybe even a little fast, since earlier this year people had closer to 3-4 weeks’ wait from receipt of letter to actual appointment day. And some people had less than two weeks— no idea how they schedule, to be honest!

Thank you luckyrabbit..so I got DM last Saturday..so I guess I'm still a little early...ugh! I'm out of the London, ON office. I was hoping it would be faster..my local MP told me they had approved me..which is GREAT..but I would feel better once this is all over..we all will, I know. Thank you again.
Do you mean it was two weeks after you received DM that they sent you the landing letter?

Its two weeks to schedule the interview from the day you get the letter. So lets say you get the letter today, two weeks from now. Around interview day will be 30th aug ish.
You got your DM last Saturday, probably another 3-4 weeks from last saturday you'll get the letter of the scheduled interview. So fingers crossed. For me it's already been 15 days now. No letter yet.
Okay. Thanks you SO MUCH for your insight. We live in a small village so our MP isn’t so busy. He called on Monday and they told him I was approved and a letter was being prepared. I get it in my mind that the guy on the other end was wrong and I wasnt approved..please

No it should be fine. That's exactly what they told me.

Your MP's office told you ..you were approved? I tried the link you gave me and it only shows DM. Who told you you were approved????

I called the cic directly. They ar told me on phone. I did not have any representative. I did everything myself so i called them directly the 1888 number.
