I applied my application for inland in Feburary and when i checked today the status it show like this....

Sponsorship

We received your application to sponsor ........ on February 18, 2015.

We started processing your application on April 30, 2015.

Permanent Residence


We received ............... application for permanent residence on February 18, 2015.

Medical results have been received.



So is it good the the spouse application is in process.How much time does it take after this status...Thanks

We can't see updates on Ecas..Jan 2015 applicant, received AOR on Apr 29.

Hello, i'm a US citizen trying to become a permanent resident of Canada. I recently sent an inland sponsorship package with an Open Work permit application, however, i've now realized my open work permit submission is only partial and unpaid for(receipt was not included).

If I redo the Open Work permit and send it will it still be applicable with my inland and is my inland(which I made sure was perfect) still valid.

This only dawned on me today when I realized I lacked the receipt, transcript and the Checklist to the owp.

please help!

Unfortunately the eCAS update saying "We started processing your application on..." means nothing.
All it means is that you have access to eCAS.

You'll probably see something in 14 months.

If it simply shows the employment locations, it doesn't mean that you are restricted to that area. Only if it's written in the conditions part.

Oh I see. I saw posts on facebook of persons saying that CIC said to retun the OWP as they made an error by placing the name of a city next to employment location.

The call centre agents made up ridiculous things all the time, so I asked my MP to ask CIC about this, they said that it doesn't matter. I don't trust any call centre agent but I hope that the officers who answer for the MPs are more reliable.

Hi everyone! Im in the process of filling up my IMM008 form and I have a question about my dependant. I have a son back in the Philippines, he is my dependant but I am not going to include him in my application yet. There is a question in form IMM0008, if the dependant is going to accompany principal applicant to Canada? Should I put yes or no? Im just confuse because if I put NO, the visa officer might think that im not going to get him in the future.
