Normally CIC does the request with AIP. If you did not get any request so far, it's possible that your medical will be valid. Which day on November CIC received your app? I gonna add you in our spreadsheet.

CIC received my app on November 18, 2014.
On September 17, 2015, updated IMM5669 was requested.

Thank you very much! Hopefully I do not need to do medical again.

Updates as of today"

Date Application Received according to CIC: Feb 4, 2014
Date AOR Received: May 22, 2014
Sponsorship approval: May 7, 2015
Approval of the applicant (full AIP): May 7, 2015
Decision Made: Feb 9, 2016
Email Received from Etobicoke: March 1, 2016
Landing: March 11, 2016
New PR Card Arrival: Not Started

Ckash16 at what time did you receive your landing email?

I got decision made February 7 2016 and am still waiting on cic Etobicoke for landing interview.

I positively assume that this delay is based on the date your application was received firstly and not based on DM. I got DM in Feb 4th and I'm still waiting Montreal office send me the landing interview. Meanwhile I'm October 2014 applicant, you are Jun applicant and Ckash16 is Feb applicant... Maybe it is the reason?!!!
Did you call CIC and know how long is the delay for the Etobicoke office? Montreal office has 4-6 weeks of delay

Application received: 19 October,2014
AIP Received : 29 january,2016
Medical Requested: 29 january,2016 and asked to provide more proofs of relationship
Medical done: 12 Feb, 2016
Documents sent: 19 Feb,2016
police clearance sent by mail: 21 Feb,2016

Have not heard anything after that, my status still says application received on ECAS.

I have similar case:
Application received: 6 November 2014
AOR: 31 August 2015
Medical Request: 19 Feb 2016

Usually, it takes 30-120 days for DM after the medical is sent. I will update as soon as i hear anything back. All the Best! :)

If you had received AIP already, your status should show `in process'. Since you were asked for more proof of your relationship, on 29 Jan, that is not AIP. Perhaps your sponsor was approved on 29 Jan?

For an Inland applicant, AIP means that the sponsor has been approved and the relationship has been verified. This is what is needed before an applicant is eligible to apply (which they already have, technically, because CIC has had their application for months at this point).

Pleased to announce the following info

Date Application received - october 28, 2014
Sponsor and Applicant approved on Feb 9, 2016
Landing interview letter received via email on March 1, 2016
Landing interview scheduled on March 11, 2016
Landing office - Etobicoke

I just received an email from CIC asking me to confirm that my spouse has not lived anywhere other than US or Canada.

Of course, the problem is, how to confirm?

The emailed letter says that a confirmation is sufficient if she hasn't, and provides a snail mail, email, and fax number.

However, the covering email says, in bold text, DO not reply to this email.

So I emailed back, but I don't know if I should follow up with a fax?

I don't understand why they are asking the question. I answered no to question 12 on IMM 0008!

Congratulations!
When did you submit your medical?

I emailed them, my documents requested for relationship proofs, is that fine.??

We started our application as common-law, my wife submitted her medical with the initial application.
Due to work requirements for her job she had a medical exam done in september 2015 (she studied in Canada and therefore was entitled to work under the post-graduate work program)
We got married in Dec, 2015 and did a case inquiry to change our status to 'married'. At that time we took the opportunity to submit the updated medical as well.
We technically we were not asked to resubmit any medical exam.

When did cic receive your app? A December 24 applicant had a similar request. He called to CIC and they told him just to write a letter to confirm.

Yes, but have they sent you your official AIP letter yet? Did you receive a letter (in an email) that said "You have meet the requirements to apply for PR" (or similar)? Until you receive this letter, you do not have AIP (Approval in Principle).
