Hello forum members!!!

I am so happy that i can now log in to my ecas, i submitted my application last August 29, 2014 through Canada Post. CIC received my application package on September 2, 1014 (i knew that they received it coz' of the signature online from canada post). I received the email last December 19, 2014, stating that they received my application last September 2, 2014 (is this the AOR)?
By the way i am the sponsor.
There are two lines now on my E-cas
1. We received your application to sponsor on September 2, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on December 18, 2014.

I know that i have to wait for 16 months to process the sponsor's paper. (When will the processing starts? September or December. Thanks.
We also applied for the OWP together with the application package.

both, at first i use my UCI and then it works, and then i log out. Then i use the applicaion # that starts with F followed by 9 numbers. It shows also the status of the application.

march 2014 applicant Just received IMM 5401 (my official recipe) via Canada Post.

However I am still unable to login to ECAS.

This is the first letter with the sponsors names on it. Maybe because I paid the fees not sure.

Applicant using UCI is able to login to ECAS since end of September. I dont have my own UCI number as I was born in Canada.

Hi guys. I would just like to ask anybody here applied on may2014 able to log into ecas already. I am so frustrated because up to now i cant still log into it. However i see many people who applied after us and are able to see there status on ecas now.

hi thanks jumps2013. Is this why u revcd a rcpt? Did u ordered from it? Or was it CIC just sending u ur imm 5401?

Hi. I'm the applicant. My aor says received may 5,2014 we submitted the form by november 26, 2013 and until now i can't log in ecas. Can anyone help, should i call cic? We're eager to receive any progress on our application, but all we can do is call our lawyer and they just say to wait. I've received my AOR, and it has my name on it, is my husband supposed to receive one with his name on it?

Since they have started to process you that means you are already on the Stage 2 now...So for some how you didn't wait the full 16 months like the rest of us

Mine just says Application received and I submitted mine last March!!

It seems like yours has just been put right at the top of the pile.

I just contacted a CIC Agent and he said that if you sent a OWP with your Sponsorship application before December 22nd, it will just be created as normal after AIP (16 month wait) and it wont be part of the new pilot project.

So it looks like anyone who sent in their OWP and Application originally will be screwed over and people who are just applying will get there's months before US!!

I sent my owp app yesterday. I include application form with aor, visitor permit,marriage certifacte and copy of my passport. But i didnt fill checklist. Is that ok or it will make any problem?

Hi anng, We have applied in April and the applicant received the AoR via email on August. Neither the Sponsor nor the Applicant can enter into the ecas system as of today. Hope that this info will help you to relax a bit.
