2 words: Hope. Less. CIC call centre are useless.

FYI

"Hopeless" is one word.

Becareful of using comma and period. Bad example can be : "I love cooking my family and my dog" XD

And I agree with your on nature of CIC call center.

They are not limited to uselessness but also misleading.

Wow I have received my AOR and Work Permit today in the Mail, I cant believe it, this has to be the quickest application ever.

I've tried to contact zinaiyin, amirbutt28 and dalia refaat about this, but they didn't answer, anyone else got it.
Have you tried to call CIC?

i sent my application direct to missisuaga.. still im waiting.. no confirmation no aor no any news.. i think cic employees they started smoking weed, they are lazy :(

I sent my sponsorship application on January 10, then my OWP on Januaray 30. The CIC agent asked me to write a follow-up letter to make a case for a dual processing of my application (sponsorship and OWP). I was given a temporary file number. Since then, i had no news from them, no transfer confirmation, no AOR and no answer for my follow-up letter.

We should have our application ready to send this weekend!!!! I'm so nervous, I could throw up. I'm so afraid to do something wrong! We're already two months behind our goal to send it at the end of January...we had a few problems getting documents and my fingerprints have been denied twice by the FBI. I have to send them AGAIN which is super frustrating and getting quite expensive. I'm sending the app without my PCC- I can't wait another month and a half for them to MAYBE deny them again. Apparently I have bad fingerprints. It's so upsetting.

sorry I'm sort of venting-- haha-- I just know that if anyone could understand how I feel, it's you guys!

I just want everything to be perfect and I don't want to forget anything! It's so stressful. :o

Hi everyone. I have been reading these forums for almost a year now and I am happy to say that I am finally almost ready to apply. I had a few questions though. I apologize if these have already been answered. I am currently staying with my spouse in Ontario on a Visitor Visa. I am from the US and we were going to apply inland so I can hopefully be allowed to work. I have heard that the FBI clearances are only valid for 3 months. How does this work if the processing time for just my spouse to get approved to sponsor me is showing 8 months? I already had it done to be sure I sent away a totally complete application package. Does anyone have experience with this? Will I have to get another one or does that time frame stop when my application is sent?

I also was wondering if anyone had any recent real time frames for inland applications.

I'd try calling CIC again. You might need to speak to a couple of people but see if they can at least inform you on whether your app is in CPC-M or still in CPC-V, or if they can find you through your file number etc.
