Hi I'm an October 2014 applicant. I just received AIP today, SA on December 29 2015. According to my GCMS notes, I passed the medical, criminality and background checks. When do you think I will get DM? How long does it usually take for you to receive DM after AIP?

One day, maybe a week.

Hi,

As many of you are. We are currently waiting for my girlfriends PR status.

We have received a letter last week saying I am eligible to sponsor her as well as her being eligible to apply for PR. We were requested to submit our medical.

We have done her medical this week and can anticipate Ottawa/Mississauga receiving it in the coming week.

We were wondering if any of you have gone thru this step as of late and what type of wait time you experienced from the day they received your medical until you received your PR status or interview request or OWP.

I was also curious if everyone who applied InLand is required to do an interview. I've seen that people who apply outside of Canada have had that waved. I was a bit confused.

For PR landing in inland application, after you get the DM, you will have an interview which is basically the landing interview

AIP: No AIP
DM: Feb 19 2016

No interview date though. Windsor Office will contact you.

This is to share my spouse's timeline for inland.

Application Received : Sep 24, 2014
Medical Requested : Sep 2, 2015
Medical exam done on the day after but wasn't submitted (thought it would be submitted by doctor automatically)
2nd Medical Requested : DEC 15, 2015 (deadline was provided JAN 14, 2016 - submitted on time)
DM : FEB 16, 2016

now Landing interview is scheduled at Vancouver on FEB 19, 2016.

It would have been faster if the medical exam was submitted at first request.... I guess?

Yes, you always have to send the eMedical sheet to CIC, otherwise they won't check.
