Hi guys couple questions,

How long does it usually for the pr to arrive in the mail, does it take exact amount of days as it says on CIC website or is more/less?

Can my husband apply for his permanent SIN using the conformation of PR in Calgary office or does he have to wait for the PR itself to arrive and then apply?
Please advise

Thanks

Yata520, I am landing at Montreal office also, I hope it is not so long.

It feels so close but yet so far.

I called the call center and was told by 2 different agents that it can take 12 week by one & 4 months by another.

It is also good to find people here who are landing at this office, please keep us update on what is taking place.

Congrats to Hilo............

Congrats to Nadouy2014 .........

Hi
I think it should take approximately the same time. But I read in another thread that this is also not sure.

Your husband will have to wait for PR card to get a permanent sin no.

Take care

Hopefully more AIP and DM roll out today ........ :D

I paid all the fees when I sent my application to CPC Vegreville.
I am not the one that waited for a long time to landing in Mtl Office.
If I am not wrong, the user MaxLet waited for a long time too to land in Montreal.

Good luck to all of you!

Mines was the 07/07, just a week difference.

Hope we hear something soon, everyday I am looking at the mail box to see if that brown envelope would come ???

On service canada website it says you need PR card but I would give it a try anyway. You never know, the worse thing they say is no.
