No problem! ;D I'm still waiting on my AIP, seems the last couple of days have been slow on news, at least on these forums. I'm hoping to hear something very soon though!

It was 6 months for first stage at one point. I don't think not wanting to bring it down below 8 months is the reason, especially seeing as how they made an announcement that 2014 will be the year for family class immigration to speed up. There was a back log from the strike and the situation in the Philippines. We know now that the 2014 Inland applications are going to CPC- Mississauga now so Vegreville is mainly dealing with 2013 applications now.

Blah. I'm hoping hubby and I get DM soon - his medicals run out in early March. :/

My husband has a work permit in his hands...showed up in the mail this afternoon!!! Yay!!!

congratulations!!!! this means another step forward towards "normal"!!!! Now a good job and you have a happy hubby!!!

Check with the clinic on what you need to bring. The clinic I went to e-files the results so I didn't need to bring along the passport photos. Just passport and CIC's letter. They will likely ask you for the medical form from CIC as well.

I received my AIP on January 28th and I still have not received my work permit Its been two weeks. I called CIC yesterday and they told me it still has not yet been sent out.
I was so excited when I received the email because I really want to work again and now its like another month or so of waiting.
How long did the rest of you guys wait for your work permit in the mail?

We've waited for two weeks for the work permit. Well, we didn't wait as we don't need it. My wife is staying home with our baby anyway
You should get it soon. By the way, we got AIP and DM on the same day. Maybe this has some impact.

Good morning, all!

Hopefully we'll all get a little bit of good news today! CIC seemed to be taking the Monday pretty slow, so here's to hoping that they work twice as hard to catch up today!

The 8-9 months is for first stage only. If you do not receive DM at the same time as AIP you may be waiting up to 8 months for DM. Does anyone know if Allydx and Danib are still waiting for DM? I could have sworn I read something about one of them either getting DM or landing already...

Unfortunataly I did not get my DM yet ...still waiting...since Nov.2013 when hubby got AIP...
But thank you for asking, I hope hear some good news in our cases soon

I received DM January 9th and my letter was dated January 21st.

so 12 days after DM
