I am also in the same Boat as you two...I have been out of status for 5y now...and your msge gives me a glimer of Hope that there are people like me...Out of status and applying for PR!
My husband is just about to mail his tax returns for last 6 years ( I know! crazy lol)...and he also aded me to his '11 and '12 returns. I am afraid that CRA will somehow report me to the immigration...I dont know if this really will happen...but I am terrified to add my name on any sort of document...Do you two know if this is likely to happen??

So, CIC got our application on Oct 9th, 2012
AIP on Mar 20, 2013 ............................ and nothing since ...... brrrrrrrrrrrr
