i dont know what to feel right now. i just got another decision made letter, minutes ago actually. i called in cic to see why did i get a new one and they said that it's because cic issued a new confirmation of permanent resident. and vancouver office will contact me again. does it mean i have to wait for another 6 months? and the wait i had from april is useless?

We are married But our application got delayed when they requested additional documents very late in the process....and then we ended up starting over it seams like. Unlucky I guess. But now they say that AIP decision can be taken any day now.....at least that what the agent said last time I talked to them. Well....I guess we'll soon know if the agent is right.

a new decision made letter because the old one expired. their reason is because my passport expired so they have to issue a new one

Okay. I don't fully understand the last stages. Wow your application has moved along fast too. And you are also very close to the finish line. Congrats to you. I hope the last few yards will be just as fast moving for you And oh how I long for us to get there one day too

i need insights..

I applied to UBC as unclassified student and got accepted. I mentioned to one of the advisors that I am applying for permanent resident and that my application was approved last April 9,2013 and i am waiting for vancouver office to contact me in finalize my resident status. Now I tried registering and i have noticed that my status was changed to permanent resident. i mentioned this twice already to an advisor to clarify but said that i was permanent resident in there system since april 10, they didn't even ask for proof except for the decision made letter that i have showed them. now i am just concerned because i still have not landed yet and maybe i will have problems at the immigration at the same time i dont want to give up my school.

any suggestions?
