Hi All,

Nobody received DM since yesterday.. I hope somebody does today

I guess yesterday was the first time in a string of daily DM issues that had no report of DMs or AIPs. Hope AIPs and DMs will come today. At least today Liz was able to annouce her landing letter today. Perhaps those that gotten DMs will get landing letters soon.

For those of you who don't know or haven't noticed, Sandman has gotten his DM as well. He quietly updated the spreadsheet without telling us because he had lost his password. Anyway congratulations Sandman. I am so excited for you.

Does anyone know why they didn't change the date for the AIP??? it's been more than 3 weeks and still writes October 5th..It becomes frustrating

My application was received october 10,2012 andast week o got AIP, so although they have october 5, they working on later than that. Hope that gives a lil hope!

Last week when I called the agent said they were still working on DMs for October 5, 2012. I think next two weeks there's gonna be rush on AIPs for October applicants. Only two persons here i can recall have gotten AIP from the October batch

You may want your friend to contact CIC or if possible Etobicoke office to find out what's going on with her application. I called CIC 888 number and asked them what is the lead time/wait time for landing at Etobicoke office. They informed me the wait time is between 7 to 8 weeks. Surprised that your friend have not gotten any response so far not even a letter. Anyway hope your friend will get a response asap on his/her absense response from Etoicoke.

She called and the agent told her that it is in fact 7-8 weeks waiting time, so it was strange they didn't contact her yet. He said he wud make a note and send it to etobicoke. Hopefully she will hear something soon. Thanks for d insight

You're welcome. Would hate to see a PR with a DM wait for too long, especially well past the expected wait time.

Me too, just checked email and Ecas for the 3rd time today and it's only 1 o'clock lol

Yeh so true jillplay, I am checking ecas so many times today.. As we haven't heard about DM's since yesterday, makes we worried that they have gone slow again.. .. I really want to be done with this.. I dont mind waiting after DM for landing
