Maybe am wrong but reading these forms I realize that some people are just lucky some people sent their application after me and already had their landing interview and waiting for their prc, while I have gotten further than others I think some people are just lucky, instead of hurting my head over immigration I have accepted that am not a lucky one sighhhhhhh :'(

your are 100% right Amanda! i noticed you are in nanaimo isnt?! i have stayed there for 6 years for my school.

i was visiting recently before i landed, it was changed quite a bit since i left. fairway is in the NTC now ! wow....

Hello 2010 peeps.

Has anyone received a landing letter yet from the Scarborough office since DM and how long did it take to get the landing letter?

anyone recently land in Scarborough ? Or have a timeline ?

That's exactly what I believe... the same way that you call 20 times and you get 20 different agents with 20 different attitudes...
All depends on who open your file... a fast one, somebody in a good mood, or somebody who just found his wife was cheating on him...

There's no other explanation on why for some people expired medicals need to be redone, and for others is ok even if they expired 4 month ago.... same with police cert...

Hang on there! if you're not lucky in this one.... something good might be waiting for you around the corner!!!!!

My husband will land on March 14th... I got the "agent that the boyfriend proposed the night before" LOL!!!
Medicals expired over 4 month... police cert expired even before they received my package.

Mi timeline:

30Mar - appl received
18Apr - start process
26Feb - sponsorship approved
26Feb - AIP
28Feb - PR
29Feb - Letter sent from Etobicoke
14Mar - Landing


Technically: average... on my eyes: too slow... as part of this group: one of the lucky ones.

Other than that the only logical option will be depending in your country...
or countries were you lived before how easy or not is to get the background check...
