Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

Mine was submitted on Jan 24th and it just got updated that police verification is completed and processing at consulate.

Consulate takes 20-21 working days (excluding police verification and excluding time it takes them to ack the application after BLS submission)

Hoping to get the passport by next week considering they stick to 20-21 working days

It does not look like they have been adhering to what they have listed on their website which is “Note that processing time starts with arrival of application at the Consulate. ” What you are saying seems correct. For me the gap between them receiving the application and acknowledging the application was about 10-14 days. Don’t recall exactly.

Look at the application submission date in network tab. It was Feb 7th for me.(even though it was with them since 27th Jan)

So count 21 working days from there excluding the time it was sitting for Police verification
