Indian citizen, UK resident, to apply for canadian spouse visa. Where to apply.

Hi,

I am an Indian citizen, living in the UK since 2010 on work permit. I recently got married to a canadian citizen and now we want to apply for my spouse visa. My question is should I apply in the London office or the New Delhi office. Or do I not have a choice in this matter.

You are eligible to apply to either office. Sounds like London office would be more convenient interview location since you are already resident there.

However even if you request London, there is always the chance CIC will just decide to send your application to New Delhi based on your citizenship. They have the final say. So if you really want London, make sure to include a cover letter explaining why having processing in London is important, and hopefully CIC listens.
