Quick question regarding a visitor visa extension. We applied for a visitor visa extension in mid-July and have had implied status since the application was accepted. Yesterday we received a message requesting a medical examination so we booked one for next Friday ($400 for the exam). Today we received a message that said the visa extension was approved and our paper work was being mailed out. Does this mean we no longer need the medical exam. That is how I interpret things but I don't want to risk anything. The longer we can hold off on the medical exam the better because we plan on applying for a PRC once we reach common-law status and I know that the medical exam expires after one year. Thanks in advance for the help.
