hey, guys, i'm new here! i have a question for you all! my husband is the principal applicant under FSW class with arranged employment. Our VO is Buffalo. Our ecas status:
We received your application for permanent residence on November 16, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 25, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 25, 2011.

After receive per from cio, E0000, we didn't receive any so far from Buffalo. My question is do I suppose to receive a 2nd file number B000? or that's only for applicants before 626. How long i need to wait for out MR, after ecas says "started processing?

Buffalo is slow , you will sure get informed by email or mail soon. yes your 2nd AOR will issue start with "B", with 2nd AOR you can query with your local Buffalo VO. even you can check your E-case status using both AOR.

What happens to the sealed documents that I send to the CIO such as IELTS and College transcripts? Will CIO forward them to Buffalo or do I need to re submit them? THe Buffalo website says that once CIO approves your application, you must then send a "full" application to Buffalo. WHat is the difference between a "full" application and what is sent to CIO?

So you dont know anything or initial stage of "how to apply?" please read manual on CIC website, everything is mentioned in manual.

I know the application procedure inside and out. Everything is not mentioned in the manual since you alos must forward VIsa specific documents to the CIO. The CIC manual has only cursory information regarding the procedure between the CIC and the VO. It states that you must forward all Visa Specific, including sealed documents, with the CIO application.

There is a discrepancy between the information on the Buffalo website and the CIC website. The CIC website states that they forward the application to the VO once they approve it for further processing.

The Buffalo website states that once they receive the go ahead from CIC, the applicant must then send a "full" application to Buffalo for processing. you can find this on the Q and A section on the Buffalo website.

The CIC information and the Buffalo information are not in agreement. Which is right?

DO I have to resubmit a "full" application again once CIC approves the application that I sent to them that has all of the Visa specific documents?

The 2nd comment from VO site is for applicants under the old system. For the current applicants, follow as per CIC and they will forward the documents to local VO once the positive eligibility review done.

hi,

i had applied fsw1 noc 0213 in 30 aug, 2009. but still i am waiting for medical request. Recently couple of days ago i made general enquiry in which they said my application is in queue for processing. In case is showing "In process". What should i do? Shall i go for case specific enquiry or CAIPS NOTES? which one I should go first? Mine is buffalo, ny to new york visa office transferred.

Thanks

Buffalo VO is known to be slow in processing. The avg time they are taking for post Feb 2008 (up to Jun 25, 2010) applicants is 1.5 yrs. So, you can expect a delay as your application is in process. All you need to do is wait...

Thank you very much. That is what I thought.

PS- Per a later post, it appears that the wait time for a PR Visa out of Buffalo takes up to two years? I will be filing under the Skilled Worker program. I guess I will have to get a Work Permit in the meantime until my PR VIsa is approved. Is this what applicants usually do in this case?

Thank you.

No Idea... you may look for the person (from Buffalo VO) applying under the same.

Follow this Thread for better understanding of London VO functioning & other people with similar time-lines to compare.

Hi Everyone,

Im just new in the thread, but always here observing silently. Just want to ask if how long does it take for the CIO to transfer our application to VO (London) and the VO to confirm the receipt?...do I need to coordinate with VO by myself (im using consultant).

I have received PER and file number via e-mail last 25 Feb 2011 and was told that it will be transferred to VO for further review. I applied under NOC 7142.

Thanks and God Bless us all. :)

Why not go for CAIPS? It will take about 6 weeks, but it may give you some good insights AND it will give you something to look forward to in the mail. Good Luck.
