IMM5533E - Police certificate upfront

Hello all,

With the recent changes, you'll need to send the police certificate in advance (after March 18 I think), I'm sponsoring my husband from Colombia, but in that country they won't issue police certificates (the companies who do it) to individuals, unless they have told by the IRCC to do it. I'm aware that you can attach a consent form in place of the police certificate, but I haven't been able to find it, can anyone tell me where can I get this consent form?

OK thanks, I guess I should create a document which states "I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from IRCC to get a police certificate."

Hi my wife is from Colombia and those companies mentioned on the cic website say that they can't give the police certificates unless you have a the concent form. Did you happen to solve the issue with the colombian police certificate and how did you resolve it. Thank you for your help.

I think there's an extra form for the applicants to fill out for now..

hi all. how important is it in the 5406 (additional family) form to have names in both english and native language. i just realized last minute that I havent typed names in my native language
