Hello. I'm canadian but i was raised in portugal and me and my portuguese husband want to immigrate to canada.
I've read some topics and it seems that it's almost impossible for my husband to find a job in canada! How else can he get a visa?
I've read about the sponsoring thing but don't i need money for that? We don't have a lot of money.
I know there are lots of portuguese living happily in canada so it is possible! But how?

thanks

The best option is for you to sponsor him as your spouse. There is no minimum income requirement to sponsor your spouse. However you cannot be bankrupt or on social assistance.

alright, so how can i sponsor him? what's the procedure? should we do it before we leave or when we're already there? how much money does it cost? and after it's all taken care of, are there any limitations to our lives in canada, or can we live and work like any canadian couple?
sorry for all the questions but we're very desperate here...

Start by reading the first post here. It will give you a good overview of the process and answer a number of the questions you've asked:

we married in november last year, but not at a church, the other way, i don't know what i't called. how can we prove the genuinity of our relationship?
we both live in portugal, so we'd probably need to aply for the outland thing, right?
what do we need to get started and how can we start aplying? is the outland form the first step?

You don't have to have a child to prove your relationship and in any case, if immigration doesn't believe your relationship, they will not see a child as being proof anyway.

You would have to write up the story of how you met, how long you dated, when you introduced him to your parents, when you got engaged, when you moved in together etc. etc. You can provide proof like mutual insurance policies or mutual utility bills or bank accounts. You can provide photos from your wedding as well as photos from vacations you have taken together etc.

If you are both outside Canada, you must apply outland.

It will cost around $1040 for the immigration fees and then you have to consider other fees associated like for his medicals as well as possibly translations of documents etc.
