Well, I am going to sit on 3rd of March as well. Regarding my speaking, the examiner was so tired even he mis spelled his ID at the beginign and he was just like please let us finish i wanna break. Hhhhhh

Just wAiting for results as soon as i get results i will register for exam... u appeared from riyadh right?

Yes Riyadh, British Council. I will register to book a slot and I will pay later on once the results get announced.

This is really unfair that the listening was difficult as compared to previous tests. I have written to ielts.india@idp.com. Please guys you as well write to idp in case u have given the test through idp and lets hope for the best...

Thank you so much for this. I have been looking for someone that wrote same listening test as me.

I want to share my answers with you. We have same answers in most of the questions;

Q1) WALSHAM
Q2) TR12SCZ
Q3) 2Y181 ----- a couple of people wrote QY181 and I know some other people who wrote 2Y181. I am confused on this though.....
Q4) to Q20) are the same as yours. The map description you gave is accurate. The first answer is G opposite the lake, the second is B (Circle room) the next is C just after the stairs, then the facility opposite the toilet (I have forgotten the option), the café opposite the garden (A), the oval shaped library facing the car park (E).
SECTION 3
Q21 - Q30 is the same as yours, I am relieved to see Outline and First draft as the answers to question 29 and 30. I thought I missed the conversation.
SECTION 4
Q31 OLD
Q32 FAME/MONEY/SUCCESS (ANY OF THESE)
Q33 SOCIABLE
Q34 NEGATIVE THINKING
Q35 ABLE TO ADAPT
Q36 NEVER SATIFIED
Q37 CONTROL EMOTIONS ---- Not sure of this answer, I just selected it.

Name: Welsham (as I remember)
Address: Northlane (I recall only one word was allowed)
Not sure about: How much information to include, I think it was another choice which seemed right.
Know & expect (did use knows and expect, wrote what I exactly heard)
Measure happiness (I think it was never satisfied because he says people keep seeking for more, God knows what's right)

12 NORTH LANE (really one word??) I can't recall. I have never seen a one word instruction in IELTS.

I have already sent email to IDP to provide grace bands on listening. We had issues with headphones at our centre. Please see as many emails we can send from the candidates so that they can take decision.

I think if I were you I would have applied for a remark as you only need a .5 increase in your speaking and you would have the perfect score for CRS. But perhaps you have already done that...

Yes my result got withheld too!! It was really annoying but the result got released on 25th Jan... so i guess it was not a very long wait...I am thinking to reappear on 3rd March as well I am just confused as the result for this one will only be out on 24th I think and as far as I know you need to pay for the test atleast 1 week before the test. I hope I am able to register and pay after the result comes out in case i need to give again...

Get the booking and later u pay... I have done the booking already through british council will pay after results are out!
